TOOFRUIT children’s fragrances have been specially designed to respect children’s skin. They are certified organic eaux parfĂ©es, made with fragrances of 100% natural origin, without alcohol or essential oils.

To develop fragrances especially for children, the TOOFRUIT teams called on Master Perfumer Jean-Charles Sommerard.

Nose and Master Perfumer Jean-Charles Sommerard grew up in a family of aromatic and medicinal plant growers. As a result, he has always worked with raw materials from nature, and today continues to imagine organic fragrances made from 100% natural concentrates.

The children’s fragrance was born in 2019 from the meeting of Katell Perrot – founder of Toofruit – and Jean-Charles Sommerard. It took several months of research to develop 8 different fragrances with fruity, gourmand scents, just like TOOFRUIT. We then called on children’s noses and parent volunteers to select the final scents. Gradually, the children’s fragrance project evolved, and we developed alcohol-free and essential oil-free formulas, fully adapted to children’s sensitive skin.

The result is 3 children’s fragrances full of fruit and gourmet goodness: Eau de Parfum Pomme-Fleur d’Oranger et Vanille, Eau de Parfum MĂ»re-Cassis et Rose and Eau de Parfum PĂŞche-Lavande-Verveine.

Like all TOOFRUIT product ranges, the children’s fragrances are made in France, certified organic, contain over 99% ingredients of natural origin and are dermatologically tested.

What is a kid's perfume?

A children’s perfume is actually what we call a ‘eau parfumĂ©e’. The term refers to fragrances that do not contain alcohol. These are microemulsions, i.e. emulsions made of very fine droplets obtained using a specific patented process. As a result, the micro-droplets penetrate the skin quickly, helping to moisturize children’s skin: the children’s fragrance combines a silky feel with an enhanced scent.

The formulation of each children’s fragrance is totally transparent. You’ll find a 100% natural perfume concentrate with no essential oils, fruit hydrolats and floral waters, as well as olive oil. Each ingredient is selected for a particular virtue: enchantment of the senses, olfactory and cutaneous benefits, and skin hydration.
